A reference for clients, partners and suppliers

Our Code of Excellence and Innovation

The guidelines, workflows and commitments that guide Passos Consultoria from concept to assisted operation — so you can decide with clarity before you begin.

We believe technology only reaches its full potential when it is guided by human intelligence. This is our “prompt”: the set of principles that defines how we turn ambition into measurable results. It is not a sales proposal or a list of promises — it is how we think, how we work and how we choose who to walk alongside. Use it as a reference in your conversations, your quotations and your decisions.

The engine of transformation

Three pillars of practice

Data, systems and user experience are not separate areas: they are three sides of the same product. That is why they work together from day one.

Data Engineering

The analytical brain

We treat data as your business’s greatest asset. We build the foundation that turns raw information into decisions — securely, with high availability and full traceability.

How we do it

  • Data Lakehouse architecture. The flexibility of a Data Lake with the rigor of a Data Warehouse, in a single environment for BI and machine learning.

  • Modern ETL/ELT pipelines. Automated extraction, transformation and loading, so information arrives clean, current and ready for decision-makers.

  • Governance and DataOps. Access control, anonymization of sensitive data and continuous compliance with LGPD, GDPR and, where applicable, HIPAA.

  • Predictive analytics. Models that reveal patterns to anticipate demand, optimize inventory, detect fraud and personalize offers.

Reference technologies

In practice

Consolidating climate, soil and machinery data in agribusiness, or large volumes of financial transactions, with queries fast enough to support decisions.

Systems Analysis

The backbone · Hostware & Controlware

We do not just deliver software: we translate complex business rules into scalable, resilient architectures that keep up with growth without having to be rebuilt.

How we do it

  • Cloud-native and microservices. Cloud systems (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) with containers that scale only the part under the most demand.

  • API-First. Documented, secure integrations with partners, payment providers, ERPs and logistics platforms.

  • DevSecOps culture. Security at every stage: code is tested for vulnerabilities before it reaches production, with continuous delivery (CI/CD).

  • Custom-built systems. CRMs and ERPs that mirror your company’s real processes, free from the constraints of off-the-shelf software.

Reference technologies

Node.js · Python (FastAPI, Django) · Java/Spring Boot · Docker · Kubernetes · AWS Lambda (serverless)

In practice

Banking cores (BaaS) and B2B/B2C e-commerce built for traffic peaks such as Black Friday, with controlled degradation instead of downtime.

Web Design and UX/UI

The connecting interface

Good design is almost invisible: it leads people to what they are looking for with the least possible effort. We translate technical complexity into clear, accessible interfaces that convert.

How we do it

  • Design Systems in Figma. Libraries of standardized components that keep the brand consistent and speed up every new screen.

  • Conversion rate optimization (CRO). Heatmaps, A/B tests and funnel analysis to tune the interface to results — sales, sign-ups or retention.

  • Accessibility (WCAG). Interfaces usable by people with visual or motor disabilities too: more inclusion and more reach for your business.

  • Information architecture. The user journey mapped before the first screen, so every click has a purpose.

In practice

Executive dashboards and online stores with short, intuitive navigation — in a clean corporate style or a dark, tech-forward look, depending on your audience.

New frontiers

Artificial intelligence, digital presence and the quantum horizon

The same three pillars support the technologies that are reshaping markets. We adopt each one when it solves a real problem — never because it is fashionable.

Artificial Intelligence

Cognitive automation

Installing an AI is not enough: it has to be prepared for your industry’s specific pain points, with quality data, measured results and human oversight.

  • Banks and financial institutions: real-time fraud detection and dynamic credit analysis.

  • Agribusiness: computer vision with drones to spot pests before they spread.

  • Retail (B2C): personalized recommendations based on buying behavior.

Social Media and the Digital Ecosystem

Omnichannel presence

Technology needs an audience. We turn social conversations into relationships, sales and community — always data-driven and respectful of privacy.

  • Market trends spotted early by analyzing what audiences are saying.

  • Social commerce: a conversation on Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn can start the order and the logistics in your system.

  • Hybrid service: the assistant handles simple questions and brings in a person when the conversation calls for empathy or negotiation.

Quantum Computing

Tomorrow’s horizon

It is still research, but it already calls for preparation. We follow its progress and help get our clients’ architecture ready for the next era — starting with security.

  • Security: planning the move to post-quantum cryptography to protect data that must stay confidential for many years.

  • Logistics: routing problems with thousands of variables, such as foreign-trade supply chains, are among the first candidates for quantum advantage.

  • Materials: molecular-level simulations for new crop-protection products and industrial materials.

To support your decision

Common points to consider before starting

The questions that come up most in first conversations — and how we usually answer them.

Buy an off-the-shelf system or build a custom one?

It depends on how much your process is your competitive edge. When it is market-standard, a well-integrated ready-made product is usually faster and cheaper. When it is what sets your company apart, custom pays off. The answer is often a mix — and the assessment shows where the line falls.

What should I bring to the first conversation?

Your business goals, the systems and spreadsheets you already use, where your data lives today, the integrations you need, your target timeline and an investment range. It does not all need to be settled: figuring it out together is part of the work.

Who owns the code and the data?

The client. Our contract sets out ownership of the code we develop, access to the repositories and the full return of the data at the end of the partnership — no lock-in.

How does data protection (LGPD) fit into the project?

From the very first phase (privacy by design): we map which personal data is processed, on what legal basis, for how long and who has access. It is cheaper and safer than adapting later.

Where should we start with artificial intelligence?

With a problem that has data and a clear measure of success — reducing fraud, speeding up customer service, forecasting demand. A small, measurable pilot is worth more than a large project with no metric.

How long will it take and how much will it cost?

Only the scope can answer that honestly. At the end of Discovery you receive timeline and investment per phase, and you decide whether to continue — each phase delivered has value on its own.

From our code to your project

This is the same rigor Passos applies to the systems that already run its own operations. Tell us about your business challenge: a specialist will talk with you, with no obligation, and point out the best path.
