Ownership
Texts, images, videos, trademarks, logos, visual identity, layout and source code on this site belong to Passos Engenharia, Consultoria, Assessoria, Importação & Exportação Ltda, except where third-party credit is given below.
What the law protects
- Brazilian Law 9,610/1998 — copyright in texts, photographs, illustrations, videos, designs and other works. Protection arises with the work itself, with no registration required.
- Brazilian Law 9,609/1998 — computer programs (systems, apps and this site's code).
- Brazilian Law 9,279/1996 — trademarks, business name and distinctive signs, such as the Passos brand and the footprints.
What you may do without asking
- Share the link to any page.
- Quote excerpts for study, criticism or news, naming the author and the source (Law 9,610/1998, art. 46, III).
- Keep a copy of short excerpts for your own non-commercial use (art. 46, II).
What requires written permission
- Reproducing, in whole or in part, for commercial purposes.
- Republishing, adapting or translating articles, manuals and technical material.
- Copying the layout, code or visual identity, or using the Passos brand.
- Bulk extraction of content or data (automated scraping).
